THE EDITING ROOM
Your shot, in motion.
SHOTLINE · BEFORE YOU IMPORT
A clear clip makes a better trail.
Aim for 5–15 seconds
One shot per clip. Start 1–2 seconds before the hit and keep recording until the balls stop. Longer clips take more time to process.
1080p+ resolution · 60 fps+
In your camera settings, choose 1080p or 4K resolution and 60 frames per second or higher when available. Upload the original camera file to keep its detail.
Keep the camera still
Use a tripod or prop your phone up. Keep the same angle throughout—no panning, zooming, or cuts.
Make the balls easy to see
Use bright, even lighting so each ball stands out against the cloth. Avoid glare, heavy shadows, and blurry footage.
Keep the action in frame
Show the balls and where they travel. For breaks, include the whole table. Keep hands and cues out of their path after the hit.
After importing: choose a shot mode, track the balls, then style and save your video.
